Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Sangrur. The Field Services Engineer will visit customer locations to install, commission, and service instruments, ensuring proper setup and safe operation. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance, and documenting work performed in service reports. The role involves providing technical support, answering customer queries, and offering guidance on optimal equipment use. The engineer will coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, follow service schedules, and maintain strong customer relationships through professional, timely service.

Qualifications

• Strong field service and on-site installation skills, with the ability to work independently at customer locations.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure reliable, safe equipment operation.
• Customer service skills, including clear communication, professional conduct, and the ability to manage client expectations.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical).
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Willingness to travel within the region, as required, for on-site service assignments.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting, documentation, and communication; familiarity with service management tools is an advantage.
• Prior experience in instrumentation or industrial equipment service is preferred but not mandatory.
