Job summary

Wabtec India at Nagpur is seeking a Maintenance Contracts Specialist to manage field service activities and ensure contractual, safety, and quality commitments are met.

You will coordinate with commercial and technical teams to resolve customer issues, manage spares, and train site technicians while maintaining essential safety and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage & execute Maintenance contracts at the designated site, ensuring timely service delivery and safety/quality compliance.
• Resolve customer issues with collaboration to ensure satisfaction.
• Spares & inventory management.
• Provide field feedback to improve product reliability.
• Periodically report open points and follow up until closure.
• Handle technical warranty activities: fault diagnosis, component replacement, NCR closure.
• Support commissioning of products on trains/locomotives and field validation.
• Train and guide site technicians on AMC procedures and updates.
• Maintain safety, regulatory and contract documentation for audits and renewals.
• Promote safety-first culture across teams and ensure safety standards.
• Own payment collection in coordination with commercial team.

Job description

Main responsibilities:

• Manage & execute Maintenance contracts of the designated site ensuing timely service delivery, delivering contractual commitments and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Resolve customer issues with strong collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Spares & inventory management.
• Ensure feedback of field experience at all stages to improve reliability of the products
• Periodic reporting of the open points of Customer and follow up till the action is closed
• Manage and execute technical warranty activities including fault diagnosis, component replacement, and Customer NCR closure
• Support during the commissioning of the Product/System on train and Locomotive and Support field validation and endurance trials of new components and retrofits. If any in his location
• Train and guide site technicians on AMC procedures, documentation, and technical updates.
• Maintain safety, regulatory and contract related documentation at site for audits & renewals.
• Ensure adherence to Wabtec safety standards, promote a safety-first culture across the teams
