Job summary

Ebara Technologies is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform on-site servicing, installation, and repair of complex systems. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues at customer sites, while providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety policies.

Ideal candidates have an AS degree in electronics or equivalent, with 3–6 years of field experience, and familiarity with semiconductor or vacuum tech.

Qualifications

• Read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
• Three to six years of work-related field service experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance: Installing, servicing, and repairing systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing mechanical, hardware, and software failures to component level.
• Customer support: Serving as the technical contact for client issues and escalating design problems to engineering.
• Mentorship & leadership: Training and guiding Level I–III technicians and field engineers.
• Documentation & safety: Tracking maintenance, downtime, parts, and following safety policies.

All hiring decisions will be made in conjunction with Ebara Technologies and its representatives.**POSITION SUMMARY**Under minimal supervision, performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s).
