Job summary

Krones Machinery India Pvt. Ltd, part of the Krones Group, is hiring a Field Service Engineer for installation, commissioning and after-sales service across beverage and packaging lines. You will travel to customer sites, perform on-site installations, troubleshoot breakdowns, and train operators.

You will work closely with project teams to ensure timely handovers, prepare reports, and maintain technical documentation while upholding safety standards in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E. in Electrical and Electronics or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years experience in bottling line or similar service industry.
• Bottling and packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission machines onsite per project specs.
• Provide breakdown and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Manage onsite project activities and site handovers.
• Prepare progress reports and update technical documents.
• Conduct onsite customer training on operation and maintenance.
• Be willing to travel extensively to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Installation Commissioning

• Perform onsite installation and commissioning of machines and equipment.
• Ensure proper setup, testing, and handover in line with project specifications.

Breakdown Service Support

• Provide timely troubleshooting and breakdown support for machines.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

Project Execution Closure

• Manage onsite activities during project execution.
• Ensure closure of all open points and deliverables before site handover.

Documentation Reporting

• Provide regular progress reports during project execution.
• Update all technical documents, reports, and system backups upon project completion.

Customer Training

• Conduct onsite training sessions for customers on machine operation and maintenance.
• Ensure customers are well-equipped to operate systems independently.

Travel Requirements

• Be willing to travel extensively to customer sites as per project and service requirements

Your Profile

Knowledge required

• Electrical, instrumentation, PLCs and Drives.
• Industrial automation.
• Electrical drawings and panel wiring.
• Knowledge on various bus communications.
• Handling of various electrical tools.
• Good communication skills
• Good presentation skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

Qualification

• Diploma in Mechatronics or Diploma/B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.

Age

• 22 to 37 years.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the bottling line or similar service industry.
• Bottling and packaging experience is preferred
