Job summary

Krones Digital Solutions India (KDSI) is a subsidiary of the Krones Group and is a part of the Krones.Digital community. The Krones Group, headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany, plans, develops, and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process technology, bottling, and packaging, plus intralogistics and recycling. It is quite likely that the bottle of water, cola or juice in your hand is manufactured in one of the Krones lines!

KDSI was created in 2023 as the Technology Competence Centre for Krones.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for application- and test-oriented engineer with practical machine-level exposure. Also, supports prototype start-up from an R&D perspective. The ideal candidate will support prototype testing, customer trials, and validation activities while contributing structured problem analysis and translating field insights into actionable development feedback.

• Support prototype start-up and customer trials together with the commissioning team and domain experts
• Focus on structured problem analysis, test observation, and data collection from an R&D perspective
• Help document machine behavior, deviations, and trial results for feedback into development
• Support application-related adjustments and validation activities without taking over the role of specialized commissioning experts
• Contribute to lessons learned, issue tracking, and evidence-based recommendations for the next development loop.

What are we looking for?

• Solid understanding of machine behavior, process interactions, and test execution
• Solid understanding of Rigid packaging materials preferably PET bottle testing and validation procedures and protocols.
• Ability to test PET bottles and provide feedback to set up process window for blowing.
• Strong understanding of blow moulding/bottle coating process and bottle blowing process.
• Ability to independently conduct pilot trials, conduct testing and document finding for correction
• Able to support structured problem analysis, root-cause observation, and data collection during prototype runs
• Good practical understanding of interfaces between process, mechanics, automation, and application
• Ability to document findings clearly and translate field observations into development feedback
• Familiarity with validation-oriented work, trial support, and issue tracking under real customer conditions
