Job summary

Godrej Koerber is seeking a maintenance professional to develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical equipment. The role requires diagnosing faults, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of systems.

You will maintain records, generate performance reports, and coordinate upgrades or rebuilds on site. Strong communication with stakeholders and hands-on training for users are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in electro-mechanical maintenance
• Ability to read electrical drawings and service manuals
• Knowledge of switchgear components and power distribution panels

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems in safe, reliable condition.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Prepare reports on performance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Document issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate maintenance activities and issues with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
• Complete maintenance and breakdown visits as per SLA.
• Inspect new installations and coordinate with projects to close open points.
• Implement upgrades or rebuilds at site.
• Provide operational and maintenance training to users.
• Improve or maintain system availability.
• Ensure replenishment of critical spare parts with customers.

Role & responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical & Mechanical faults and malfunctions.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure prompt resolution of electrical & Mechanical.
• Ensure that electrical & Mechanical systems and equipment are maintained in a safe and reliable condition
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Prepare reports on the performance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Document any issues or problems encountered and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and issues.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures.
• Complete Maintenance & Breakdown visit as per SLA
• Project take-over: Inspection of new installations, share open points with the Project, and ensure closure.
• Implement upgradation / rebuild work at the site
• Operational & maintenance training to User
• Improve/Maintain System availability
• Ensure replenishment of critical spare parts with the customer.

Preferred candidate profile

• Min 2 - 3 years in field of Electro-Mechanical maintenance
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical drawings, and service manuals to perform required maintenance work
• Basic Knowledge of Switchgear components, Control Panels/Power distribution Panels
• Troubleshooting of industrial communication system viz. Profibus, Profinet, AS-I, etc.
• Knowledge of configuring & troubleshooting of VFDs, Encoders, PLC,etc.
