Job summary

Nesara Instruments & Services seeks a Field Service Engineer to support customers with analytical instruments in Bengaluru and across India. You will perform installation, calibration, and on-site training of optical emission spectrometers, XRF devices, and related equipment, traveling to steel plants, foundries and manufacturing sites as required.

The role requires 0–2 years in electronics instrumentation, a BE/Diploma/BSc in electronics or instrumentation, and practical hands-on skills with

• BE/Diploma/B.Sc in Electronics, Instrumentation, Production Engineering.
• Basic understanding of industrial engineering principles and instrumentation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers through field service visits.
• Site visits to foundries, steel plants, automobile parts manufacturers to troubleshoot repairs.
• Travel mainly in South India with some North India coverage.
• Installations and training for new instruments.
• Perform calibration services and maintain service records.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers through field service visits, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to Analytical Instrumentation products like Optical emission spectrometer, Desktop & Handheld XRF instruments
  
• Site visits mainly to Foundries, Steel plants, Automobile plats, parts manufacturers to troubleshoot and repair complex problems of our instruments.

• Travel will mainly be in South India, and a few parts of North India.
  
• Perform Installation and training to the new instruments sold.
  
• Perform calibration services for various types of instruments and equipment.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports on repairs completed.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0-2 years of experience in electronics engineering or a related field (instrumentation).
  
• BE/Diploma/B.Sc degree in relevant discipline (Electronics, Instrumentation, Production Engineering).
  
• Basic understanding of industrial engineering principles, instrumentation techniques, and production processes.
  
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, test equipment, etc.
