Job summary

Nishka Instruments is seeking a field sales professional to visit industrial clients, OEMs, consultants, and project sites to understand requirements and generate sales opportunities.

You will recommend level, pressure, flow and temperature measurement products, generate leads through field visits and B2B channels, and prepare quotations to convert enquiries into orders. Willingness to travel and strong customer-handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in field sales, technical sales, industrial sales or B2B sales.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel for regular customer and site visits.

Role & responsibilities

• Visit industrial clients, OEMs, consultants, and project sites to understand requirements and generate sales opportunities.
• Recommend suitable process instrumentation such as level, pressure, flow, and temperature measurement products.
• Generate leads through field visits, customer references, exhibitions, IndiaMART, TradeIndia, and other B2B channels.
• Prepare quotations and techno-commercial proposals and follow up to convert enquiries into orders.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, order processing, delivery, and post-sales support.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in field sales, technical sales, industrial sales, or B2B sales.
• Candidates from industrial equipment, machinery, automation, electrical/electronics, or related technical sales backgrounds are preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, customer-handling, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to travel for regular customer and site visits.
• Proactive, target-oriented, and willing to learn technical products.
