Job summary

Schindler in Hyderabad is seeking a technically skilled field support engineer to provide remote and on-site assistance for complex elevator and escalator projects. The role covers commissioning and start-up of new products, installation support, and aiding sales and service leaders in bids demanding high expertise.

Ideal candidates hold a BE in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with five years of experience with Schindler products, and possess IT and English skills along with a

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with Schindler products.
• Experience with elevators and escalators is preferred.
• Strong IT and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by phone to assigned branch when they have difficulties to solve complex technical issues.
• Provide support on site when the escalated issues cannot be solved remotely.
• Provide support on site to help in the commissioning and start-up of complex projects or equipment.
• Support the field in the installation, commissioning and start-up of pre-series and/or 0-series from new products in introduction phase.
• Provide Technical support to the sales force and service leaders when bidding for a complex New Installations / Modernizations job or a complex service contract which demands more than the usual know how in the sales force if and when required.
