Job summary

SSM InfoTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Surat, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced field engineer to provide on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer locations.

The role involves understanding customer requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with sales and R&D teams to address issues. You will prepare site reports and technical documentation while ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field engineering, application, or service.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, panels, drives or automation.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with PLC/SCADA or testing instruments is a plus.
