Job summary

LTTS in Pune is seeking an FEA Engineer to drive advanced CAE simulations using ANSYS Workbench and LS-DYNA for product development and validation.

You will build and validate FEMs, interpret results, and collaborate with design and test teams to ensure performance, durability, and safety. You will also prepare technical reports and customer presentations, with scripting for automation where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proficient in FEA methods for structural and dynamic analyses.
• Experience creating and validating FEM models.
• Ability to interpret results and propose design improvements.
• Experience collaborating with design and testing teams.

FEA Engineer (ANSYS Workbench & LS-DYNA):

1. Perform structural, nonlinear, impact, drop test, and explicit dynamic simulations using ANSYS Workbench and LS-DYNA to support product development and design validation activities.

2. Create and validate high-quality finite element models, including geometry cleanup, meshing, material definition, contact setup, boundary conditions, and load application for complex engineering components and assemblies.

3. Analyze and interpret simulation results such as stress, strain, deformation, acceleration, energy balance, and failure response, and provide design improvement recommendations.

4. Collaborate with design, testing, and cross-functional engineering teams to correlate CAE results with physical test data and support product optimization for performance, durability, and safety requirements.

5. Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and customer presentations while ensuring adherence to engineering standards, quality processes, and project delivery timelines.
