Job summary

CLAAS Agricultural Machinery Pvt Ltd. in Mohali, India seeks an experienced Simulation Engineer to lead execution, tracking, and delivery of projects in the simulation domain.

You will apply solid knowledge of mechanics, fatigue, dynamics, and measurement data evaluation using Hyperworks, Radioss, Optistruct and Simpack to deliver robust, field-ready design solutions for efficient farming machinery.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Mechanics of Solids, Mechanical Dynamics, and Engineering Mechanics.
• Experience in lean execution of simulation with minimal data variants and solution proposals.
• Sound knowledge of metal fatigue, durability and measurement data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Execution/Tracking/Delivery of projects in simulation domain.
• Evaluation of static and dynamic systems, including linear and non-linear analysis of structures.
• Assessment within time and frequency spectrum and identification of relevant physics and evaluation criteria.
• Provide design solutions for field failures, weight reduction and cost reduction ideas to designers.
• Regular interaction with customers in Europe.

Job Profile;

Execution/Tracking/Delivery of projects in simulation domain

Thorough knowledge in Mechanics of Solids, Mechanical Dynamics, and Engineering Mechanics

Evaluation of static and dynamic systems. Linear and Non-Linear analysis of structures.

Assessment within the time and frequency spectrum

Ability to identify the relevant physics and evaluation criteria. --> Solid physical knowledge, structured working, and analytical thinking are essential

Experience in lean execution of simulation (challenge of input data, utilizing minimum number of variants, to the point proposal of solutions)

Experience in finding solutions to field/testing issues, providing design solutions for field failures, weight reduction, and cost reduction ideas to designers

Software proficiency in Hyperworks (HM, HV and MotionSolve), Radioss, Optistruct and Simpack

Experience in quality assessments of simulation models (input plausibilisation, model checks, output plausibilisation)

Sound knowledge of Metal fatigue, Durability, Measurement data evaluation, and Mechanical Dynamics

Regular interaction with customers in Europe
