Job summary

Dynamech Design is seeking a skilled CAE Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in CAE, FEA, and CFD. The role focuses on structural and thermal simulations, vibration analysis, and CFD support, using ANSYS tools and SOLIDWORKS for CAD preparation.

The candidate will interpret results, provide design recommendations, and communicate findings to internal teams and clients. Hands-on simulation work and collaboration with design, manufacturing, and testing teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of CAE/FEA/CFD experience.
• Hands-on ANSYS and SOLIDWORKS for model prep.
• Ability to interpret results and recommend designs.
• Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review 3D CAD models and prepare geometry for simulation.
• Perform geometry cleanup, meshing, material assignment, and boundary condition setup.
• Conduct structural FEA: Linear Static, Nonlinear, Contact, Modal, Buckling, Fatigue.
• Perform thermal analysis and support CFD simulations (flow, heat transfer).
• Set up simulations, run solvers, perform mesh checks, validate results.
• Analyze stress, deformation, temperature, pressure, and flow fields.
• Interpret results and identify design improvements or failure areas.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to teams and clients.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing and testing for validation.
• Ensure timely delivery of simulations and reports.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CAE Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

The candidate will be responsible for performing structural and thermal simulations, Vibration, supporting CFD analysis, preparing simulation models, interpreting results, and providing practical design recommendations. The role requires hands‑on experience with ANSYS tools and SOLIDWORKS for CAD model preparation and engineering simulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review 3D CAD models and engineering drawings and prepare geometry for simulation.
• Perform geometry cleanup, defeaturing, meshing, material assignment, and boundary condition setup.
• Conduct structural FEA, including Linear Static, Nonlinear, Contact, Modal, Buckling, and Fatigue Analysis.
• Perform thermal analysis and support CFD simulations involving fluid flow, pressure drop, and heat transfer.
• Work on simulation setup, solver execution, mesh quality checks, and result validation.
• Analyze stress, deformation, temperature distribution, pressure, and flow characteristics.
• Interpret simulation results and identify potential design improvements or failure areas.
• Correlate simulation results with engineering calculations and available test data.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate simulation findings to internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to support product development and design validation.
• Ensure timely completion of simulation projects and technical deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of FEA,CFD .
• Good understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and finite element methods.
• Experience in meshing, contacts, loads, constraints, and solver settings.
• Knowledge of structural, thermal, and CFD analysis.
• Ability to interpret simulation results and recommend design modifications.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.

Required Software Skills

• ANSYS Mechanical Structural and thermal analysis.
• ANSYS Fluent / CFX – CFD analysis and fluid flow simulation.
• SOLIDWORKS – 3D CAD modelling, geometry review, and model preparation.
• ANSYS Workbench – Simulation setup and analysis workflow.
