Job summary

Speed Engineering Solutions in Pune invites applications for a Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace/B.E. graduate with 1–3 years of FEA experience using ANSYS Workbench. The role focuses on applying engineering fundamentals to perform static, modal and fatigue analyses, and to derive actionable design recommendations.

Strong hands-on SpaceClaim and ANSYS Workbench proficiency is mandatory. Familiarity with ANSYS APDL or Hypermesh and solid documentation skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace/Aeronautical with 1–3 years of FEA experience using ANSYS Workbench.
• Ability to perform analytical calculations from first principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Define analysis approach, boundary conditions and acceptance criteria for components and systems.
• Interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations.
• Experience in Static (Linear & Non-Linear), Modal and Fatigue analyses.
• Exposure to thermo-mechanical and transient structural analyses is a plus.
• Strong FEA theory, and clear technical documentation writing.
• Hands-on experience with SpaceClaim and ANSYS Workbench is mandatory.
• Knowledge of ANSYS APDL or Hypermesh is a plus, MS Office reporting skills.

Experience and Skills Required:

• B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering with 1 to 3 years of Experience in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS Workbench software
• Ability to carry out analytical calculations using first principles / engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate boundary conditions and define appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations.
• Experience on Static (Linear and Non-Linear), Modal analysis and Fatigue assessment.
• Exposure to Thermo-Mechanical analysis, Transient Structural analysis will be added advantage
• Good understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory and practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Good proficiency in FEA tools:
• Mandatory - Hands-on experience on Spaceclaim, ANSYS Workbench
• Good to Have ANSYS APDL, Hypermesh (Optional)
• Good skills in MS-office tools. Ability to create reports and documentation.
