Job summary

VSB Vasttram in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Production Merchandiser to manage end-to-end garment production for Lehenga and Bridal Wear.

You will read client order sheets, plan production stages, coordinate embroidery, stitching and finishing, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong craft awareness, hands-on production coordination, and diligent maintenance of production trackers and order status.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret client order sheets including body measurements, design specifications, and embellishment details
• Plan and track production stages to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate between embroidery, stitching, and finishing units to maintain smooth workflow
• Conduct quality checks before and after stitching checking fit, construction, embroidery placement, and finishing
• Ensure accurate color matching across fabrics, threads, and embellishments
• Oversee final garment inspection and dispatch as per delivery schedules
• Maintain production trackers and order status records
