Job summary

La Paz in Gurugram is seeking a fashion merchandiser with at least 2 years' experience to shape collections alongside the creative team. You will contribute to sampling, production, and product management, turning concept into market-ready pieces.

This on-site role requires textile knowledge, strong communication, and multi-tasking ability to drive timelines, coordinate with vendors and PR, and ensure materials and embroidery details meet our premium conscious luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Fashion Technology or relevant education or training in fashion merchandising/ designing
• Understanding of wovens, kints, and other textiles
• Understanding of Knitwear construction
• Understanding of embroidery, attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Little understanding of Shopify
• Time and action calendar

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate high-quality raw materials-Vendor management
• Understanding of patterns, grading and consumption
• Planning, managing and monitoring sampling and production
• Manage budgets and expenses
• Understanding of Embroidery details
• Manage stock keeping of raw materials and finished goods
• Collaboration with PR team for styles required
• Managing Daily Orders
• Client Coordination
• Track orders and complete their dispatch in time, collaborating with the logistics team

Role Description (2 years experience atleast)

We are searching for a talented, passionate, self-motivated Fashion Merchandiser with an interest in product development & management to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of La Paz's collections. You will be responsible for working alongside the creative director and other designers for the sampling and production process. We are looking for a doer and not just someone who talks about doing, a multi-tasker. This is an on-site role located in Gurugram.
