Job summary

Ajeera Enterprises in Jaipur, India invites a fashion designer to research trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to develop new designs. You will create sketches, concepts, and design ideas for upcoming collections, and select fabrics, trims, and materials for garments.

You will develop prototypes, coordinate with pattern makers and sample teams, and work closely with merchandisers and production to finalize designs.

Responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to develop new designs
• Create sketches, concepts, and design ideas for new collections
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for garments
• Develop prototypes and coordinate with pattern makers and sample teams
• Work closely with merchandisers and production teams to finalize designs
• Ensure designs meet brand identity, quality standards, and customer preferences
• Make design modifications based on feedback from buyers or management
• Prepare tech packs, measurements, and design specifications for production
• Monitor sampling and fitting to ensure proper garment construction
• Assist in planning seasonal collections and product development
