Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will lead the design process from initial concept to final production, translating trend research into cohesive, market-ready clothing and apparel collections. The ideal candidate blends creative talent with technical construction expertise and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept Development: Conduct trend research, create mood boards, and develop seasonal color palettes, themes, and design concepts aligned with brand identity.
• Apparel Design: Produce original hand sketches and digital flat sketches (CAD) complete with garment details, stitch lines, and trim callouts.
• Technical Packs (Tech Packs): Create comprehensive tech packs including detailed construction specifications, measurement specs, bill of materials, and artwork placement.
• Material & Fabric Sourcing: Select and source appropriate fabrics, trims, hardware, and embellishments suited for production and target price points.
• Sample Development & Fitting: Collaborate with patternmakers and sample machinists to oversee sample creation. Lead fit sessions, evaluate garment construction, and communicate revisions to suppliers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, product development, and production teams to ensure designs meet target price points, margin goals, and delivery schedules.
• Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, fabric innovations, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: Min 1 + years of professional fashion design experience (apparel focus preferred).
