Job summary

Kheyti is seeking a field professional in Rangareddy, Telangana, to deliver day-to-day advisory and support to farmers participating in the Greenhouse-in-a-Box program. You will drive onboarding, training, and engagement, ensuring adoption of protected cultivation and timely input delivery.

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will collaborate with agronomists, manage the farmer database, and expand outreach while traveling to sites. This role is full-time and field-based.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Agriculture or Horticulture required.
• Willingness to travel and expand operations.
• Knowledge of horticulture/crop management required.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new farmers to Kheyti Greenhouse program.
• Train onboarded farmers on maintenance of Greenhouse and protected cultivation.
• Resolve farmers’ agronomy-related queries and ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction.
• Improve inbound and outbound farmer engagement by telecalling and coordinating field visits and campaigns to increase awareness of best practices.
• Farmer database maintenance.
• Work closely with senior agronomists to provide input recommendations.
• Ensure warehousing and timely delivery of inputs to farmers.

About Us

Kheyti helps smallholder farmers battle climate change through the "Greenhouse-in-a-Box", a low-cost greenhouse bundled with end-to-end services. Designed for smallholders, our greenhouse fits in 2% of their land, costs 33% lower than regular greenhouses, protects crops from environmental risks and grows 7x more food with 50x water efficiency. Along with the greenhouse, we work with partners to offer farmers financing, input linkage, training and market linkage services, creating a seamless path towards steady additional incomes of upto ₹1,00,000/year, a 3x increase in farm incomes.

Through a culture of farmer centric design, we've brought down the cost of the greenhouse significantly to 90% lower than mainstream greenhouses. We've created collaborations with >100 organisations to offer farmers services. We've proven the model with 300 farmers today and will be serving 2,000 farmers in 12 months. The Opportunity

You will drive farmer onboarding, training, and engagement across our greenhouse program. You will work closely with farmers to ensure smooth adoption of protected cultivation practices, resolve agronomy-related queries, and support them with timely input delivery. Working alongside agronomists and field teams, you will play a key role in improving farmer success and satisfaction.
