Job summary

Vamasa Trading is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily factory operations in West Bengal. You will plan, monitor, and coordinate production activities to meet orders and ensure on-time shipments, while maintaining strict QC standards and accurate records.

The role requires organizing resources, managing stock and documentation, and driving cost efficiency. You will lead cross-department coordination and ensure audit-ready processes across all production stages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production to ensure timely completion of orders and shipments.
• Maintain daily production reports and provide regular updates to Head Office.
• Coordinate with all departments, contractors and labour to ensure smooth production.
• Implement strict quality control at every stage using approved samples as QC standards.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and maintain stock records, tagging and traceability.
• Monitor finished goods and maintain production/QC documentation.
• Manage petty cash, labour payments and routine factory administration.
• Organise and maintain samples, tags, cartons and sample records, including uploading photographs to the cloud.
• Maintain follow-up files and submit weekly reports to Head Office.
• Conduct stock audits after shipments and ensure physical stock matches records.
• Monitor labour and contractor performance while minimising wastage and production costs.
• Conduct shipment-wise post-production reviews and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure the factory remains audit-ready with proper documentation, signage, cleanliness and processes.
• Take full responsibility and accountability for production, quality and day-to-day factory operations
