Title: Factory Manager - Plant Administration

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee plant administration at a continuous process manufacturing facility. The role involves managing day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting smooth plant functioning. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in plant administration within a continuous process industry, preferably in the chemical manufacturing sector.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Relations, Operations Management, or any technical field related to Chemical Manufacturing
• 9-12 years of experience in plant administration / facility management in a continuous process industry
• Strong exposure to factory administration, compliance, and government liaisoning
• Must be fluent in Hindi and Gujarati
• Preferred: Married candidate willing to relocate with family to Dahej/Bharuch

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise between Plant and Head Office (HO)
• Manage overall plant administration and office operations
• Collaborate with line managers for smooth functioning
• Assist Liaison Head in dealing with government authorities (pollution control, factory dept., excise, land, etc.)
• Ensure statutory compliance and regulatory requirements are met
• Handle vendor management, commercial negotiations, and contracts
• Oversee execution of on-site work and new process implementation
• Audit purchase and expense records on a weekly basis

Nice To Have

• Experience in chemical / petrochemical / refinery plants
• Prior exposure to SEZ / industrial zone operations (e.g., Dahej region)
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices
• Experience handling large workforce / contractor management
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong vendor network and negotiation skills
• Experience in audit readiness and compliance documentation
• Basic understanding of capex projects / plant expansion activities
