VESAT INDIA is seeking a Plant Leadership professional to drive end-to-end plant operations in Thrissur, including production, engineering, quality, maintenance and warehousing. The role focuses on delivering productivity, cost efficiency, quality and service levels while optimizing resources to meet targets.

The candidate will lead S&OP from a manufacturing standpoint, develop robust production plans, ensure high service levels including export commitments, and collaborate with procurement,

Formación

• BE/BTECH with exp in factory operations, manufacturing, QA/QC, maintenance or projects.
• 3–4 years of experience in factory/manufacturing/process quality.
• Malayalam language knowledge is mandatory and willingness to work in Thrissur.

Role & responsibilities

• Plant Leadership & Operations Excellence
  • Lead end-to-end plant operations, including production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and warehousing
  • Deliver superior performance across key metrics: productivity, cost efficiency, quality, and service levels
  • Drive optimal utilisation of man, machine, and materials to meet business targets consistently
  • Benchmark plant performance against industry best practices and drive continuous improvement
• Production Planning & Supply Chain Integration
  • Lead the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process from a manufacturing standpoint to ensure alignment with demand plans
  • Develop and execute robust production plans based on demand forecasts and material availability
  • Ensure high service levels through reliable dispatch planning and execution, including export commitments
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
• Strategy & Capacity Building
  • Translate business strategy into manufacturing priorities and execution roadmaps
  • Lead capacity planning and expansion initiatives to support future growth
  • Build scalable systems and processes that enable long-term operational excellence
  • Partner with cross-functional leadership (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to drive business outcomes
