Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Factory InCharge, Plant Manager, or similar role in manufacturing (water/food & beverage preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the water manufacturing plant.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and demand.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout production.
  • Lead and supervise factory staff, provide training and performance feedback.
  • Manage inventory, materials, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Oversee maintenance and preventive upkeep of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, quality issues, and incidents for management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Job description

Factory Operations Management:
  • a. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the water manufacturing plant.
  • b. Ensure all production targets and deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • c. Coordinate with various departments (production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
Production Planning & Control:
  • a. Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • b. Monitor production levels and adjust plans as needed to meet demand.
  • c. Ensure proper allocation of resources, including raw materials and labor, to maintain production efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
  • a. Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • b. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of finished products.
  • c. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations as well as industry standards.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
  • a. Manage and supervise factory staff, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
  • b. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • c. Ensure proper safety training and awareness among the team to minimize accidents and injuries.
Inventory & Resource Management:
  • a. Maintain adequate levels of raw materials, packaging, and other production supplies.
  • b. Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed to avoid production delays.
  • c. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of required materials.
Maintenance & Equipment Management:
  • a. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • b. Ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are followed to reduce downtime.
  • c. Identify equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure minimal disruption to production.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • a. Ensure the factory operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • b. Maintain records of production, quality checks, inventory, and staff attendance.
  • c. Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality issues, and any incidents for upper management.
Continuous Improvement:
  • a. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • b. Implement best practices and recommend improvements to enhance the overall production process.
  • c. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the plant remains competitive.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Factory InCharge, Plant Manager, or similar role in a manufacturing environment (preferably in water or food & beverage industry).
