TE Connectivity Ltd. in Pune invites a seasoned Manager Facilities to lead civil, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, driving reliability, safety and efficiency across the plant.

You will oversee budgeting, TPM implementation, and large capital projects, while building a high‑performing facilities team and ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications

• 15-18 years hands-on facilities management experience.
• At least 5 years in budgeting and team development.
• Experience with large capital projects involving civil or electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade civil, electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Budget facilities spend for the year.
• Develop facilities team capabilities and TPM implementation.
• Execute energy and water projects to reduce carbon footprint.
• Plan and execute expansions or new facility constructions.
• Ensure statutory and EH&S compliance for facility management.
• Oversee utility systems: transformers, DG, compressors, STP/ETP, etc.

BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Transportation solutions BU makes products for Connecting and Sensing Data, Power and Signal for

vehicles ranging from Two wheelers to Heavy Commercial trucks. TS India operates out of 2 Manufacturing

plants in Pune, Sales offices in Pune, Noida and Chennai and a Global engineering team in Bangalore. The

total team strength is of 3,500 employees. There is a clear business strategy till 2025 to support the

business growth. The growth is driven mainly driven from localization of Core India Specific products and

also New technology products.

The above position has been created to work with a team of Mechanical Designers, Electrical Automation

Engineers in the Operations team to define the process and build the machines needed to make the new

products in line with the strategy map and market demand.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Maintain and Upkeep of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Infrastructure of the Plant facility

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Upkeep of facilities Infrastructure of the Plant like DG, Compressors, UPS, Chillers, STP, ETP to name a few.

Budgeting the facilities spend for the year.

Continuous development of the facilities team to enhance their capabilities.

Follow the TPM methodology for all facilities equipments and ensure Zero downtime.

Execution of projects [Energy & water] to reduce the carbon footprint of the Plant Setup Y-o-Y.

Planning and Execution of Expansion in Existing facility or Construction of New facilities.

Facility planning and Layout implementation for New Projects or Transfer Projects or changes in the existing manufacturing plant.

To ensure the Legal, and Statutory compliances of Facility Management as per EHS, OHSAS and other applicable requirements if any.

Support immediate reporting officer in all strategically and new developmental activities.

Completion of Projects as per agreed timeline

Statutory and Legal Compliances related to Facility management

Take care of Housekeeping and Gardening services in the Plant.

Take care of Utility Management such as Transformer, DG Set, Compressors, STP unit, Pump Room, chillers etc.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

• Diploma / BE (Electrical)

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

• 15-18 Years of Hands on Experience with Facilities equipment's.
• Atleast 5 yrs experience in Managing budget and team development.
• Atleast one/two large capital project execution responsibility where major Civil, Electrical or other facility was added.
