Job summary

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Fabricator to construct, modify, and repair stainless steel structures, sanitary piping loops, and process equipment across the manufacturing facility. You will read complex drawings and isometric P&IDs to layout, cut, fit, and prep custom utility lines, with expertise in hot/cold insulation and sanitary design.

You will work closely with qualified welders to ensure fabrication complies with cGMP, ASME BPE, and strict sanitary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on metal fabrication in a regulated industry.
• Strong background with thin-walled stainless steel (316L/304) and sanitary Tri-Clamp fittings.
• Excellent ability to read engineering drawings, structural layouts, and isometric pipe spools.
• Deep understanding of sanitary design principles and Ra surface finish metrics.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and isometric P&IDs to layout, cut, fit, and prep utility lines.
• Layout, measure, cut, bend, roll, and assemble piping, tubing, frames, platforms, and sheet metal.
• Coordinate with qualified welders to ensure cGMP, ASME BPE compliance and safe operations.
• Perform grinding, beveling, deburring, polishing, and Ra finishing for cleanroom surfaces.
• Operate metal-working equipment and conduct dimensional checks for alignment.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Pharmaceutical Fabricator to construct, modify, and repair stainless steel structures, sanitary piping loops, and process equipment across our manufacturing facility. In this role, He will read complex engineering drawings and isometric P&IDs to layout, cut, fit, and prep custom utility lines , cleanroom SS fabrication workHe will be well versed with HOT and Cold insulation work, any kind of S.S and M.S Barication work. He will work closely with qualified welders to ensure all fabrications comply with cGMP, ASME BPE, and strict sanitary design standards.
Layout, measure, cut, bend, roll, and assemble piping, tubing, structural frames, platforms, and sheet metal components
Precision-fit pipe joints, flanges, ferrules, and fittings to exact tolerances prior to manual or orbital TIG welding, ensuring zero gaps, burrs, or misalignment.
Interpret mechanical blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and structural drafting specifications accurately.
Execute mechanical grinding, beveling, deburring, polishing, and surface prep to achieve required Ra (Roughness Average) finishes for cleanroom and contact-surface standards.
afely operate metal-working machinery, including shear cutters, press brakes, band saws, drill presses, pipe notchers, and angle grinders.
Ensure all fabrications feature smooth, crevice-free joints to prevent microbial entrapment
Conduct dimensional checks, slope verification for free-draining lines, and alignment tests using precision instruments (verniers, calipers, laser levels).
dhere to Hot Work permits, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), line-breaking safety protocols, and maintain strict personal safety gear (PPE) compliance.
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on metal fabrication experience in a regulated industry
Strong background working with thin-walled Stainless Steel (316L/304), Sanitary Tri-Clamp fittings, and orbital welding preparations.
High proficiency in reading engineering drawings, structural layouts, and isometric pipe spools.
Deep understanding of sanitary design principles, drainability (pitch/slope requirements), and surface finish metrics (Ra values).
Hands-on expertise with metal-cutting equipment, pipe bevelers, face-prep tools, and grinding/polishing machinery.
Basic tack welding capabilities are preferred.
