Job summary

Hydro is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate tools and assist with lifting and packing finished goods in a fast-paced setting. You will read measurements, inspect parts, and keep a clean work area while supporting the shipping team.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (GED accepted) and up to 6 months of manufacturing experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use a calculator. Day shift 5:00 AM–3:00 PM, starting pay $17.42/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (minimum 50 lbs.) and use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools (hammers, mallets, clamps, hand drills, deburring tools).
• Lift and stack products at a fast pace throughout the shift.
• Pull finished goods from the yard to fulfill packing lists.
• Visually inspect materials for welds, cleaning and size issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and storage.
• Operate punch presses to process parts for Shipping.
• Cut wooden battens or blocks for Shipping as needed.

Starting Rate of pay: $17.42/hour

Shifts Available and Hours: Day shift 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What you will be doing

• Operate various tools, including hammers, mallets, clamps, hand drills, and deburring tools.
• Assist with lifting and stacking desired products at afast pace, through the entire work schedule.
• Pull identified finished goods from the yard to fulfill packing lists.
• Visually inspect materials for missed welds, incomplete cleaning, and incorrect sizes from the welding team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the finished goods storage area.
• Operate various punch presses to process parts for the Shipping Department.
• Cut wooden battens or blocks for the Shipping Department as needed.
