Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced automotive exterior trim design engineer in Chennai. You will contribute to New Part Development (NPD) projects, leveraging CATIA V5 to lead vehicle integration with GD&T, PLM, and Vismockup tools.

Strong communication and the ability to work independently are essential as you coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet stringent automotive standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive exterior trim design and New Part Development (NPD).
• CATIA V5 expert; 3DEXPERIENCE familiarity; GD&T, Teamcenter PLM, and Vismockup for vehicle integration.
• Strong knowledge of automotive standards, safety requirements and regulations.

• 5+ years of experience in automotive exterior trim design and New Part Development (NPD).
• Expert in CATIA V5; familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) is a plus. Strong knowledge of GD&T, Teamcenter PLM, and Vismockup for vehicle integration.
• In-depth understanding of automotive standards, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Proficient in plastic product design and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication skills; self-motivated and able to work independently
