Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a design engineer with 2–5 years of experience in automotive plastic trim design, preferably for door trims. The role requires strong CATIA V5 skills, knowledge of GD&T, and understanding of injection molding. You will work independently and with global teams to deliver quality components.

Education & Experience

• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
• Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in automotive plastic trim design (preferably door trims).

Domain Knowledge

• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
• Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in automotive plastic trim design (preferably door trims).

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in CATIA V5, Teamcenter & Vismockup is a plus.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and injection moulding processes.
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and drawing standards.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent team collaboration across global and cross-functional environments.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.
