Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Export Sales professional in Pune to drive international market development for steel wire products, OPGW, and OFC cables.

You will lead regional sales, manage queries, and coordinate with production, logistics, and customers across multiple time zones. The role requires 10–15 years in Export Sales, strong export documentation knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Export Sales (steel, engineering, telecom cable, power transmission, or industrial products preferred).
• Graduate or MBA in Marketing / International Business (preferred).
• Strong understanding of export documentation, INCOTERMS, freight, and LC processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple countries and time zones.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, and international email etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• International Market Development for steel wire products, OPGW, and OFC cables.
• Achieve export sales targets across assigned regions; drive lead generation, enquiry handling, quotation submission, negotiation, and order finalization.
• Maintain relationships with overseas customers and agents; provide technical clarifications and documentation support.
• Coordinate with logistics for freight rates, shipments, documentation, and export compliance.
• Submit weekly/monthly MIS, region-wise performance reports, and forecasts.
• Support participation in global expos, trade fairs, and travel logistics for overseas business trips.

Position: Export Sales

Reporting To: Head Exports / Director – International Business

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

1. International Market Development

• Identify, develop, and manage export markets for steel wire products, OPGW, and OFC cables.
• Conduct market research on new countries, sectors, and customer segments.
• Establish relationships with dealers, distributors, EPC contractors, power/telecom utilities, and industrial clients.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets as per assigned regions.
• Drive lead generation, enquiry handling, quotation submission, negotiation, and order finalization.
• Work closely with internal production, planning, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure timely fulfilment.

3. International Client Relationship Management

• Maintain consistent communication with overseas customers and agents.
• Address client requirements, technical clarifications, and documentation support.
• Conduct virtual meetings, business reviews, and follow-up calls with global partners.

4. Export Operations & Documentation

• Coordinate with logistics for freight rates, shipments, documentation, and export compliance.
• Work with CHA, freight forwarders, and export agencies for timely dispatches.
• Ensure accuracy of Proforma Invoices, Packing Lists, LC documentation, COO, BL, AWB, etc.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Track competitor activities, global pricing trends, and demand patterns.
• Submit weekly/monthly MIS, region-wise performance reports, and forecasts.
• Monitor payment collections, credit control, and LC terms adherence.

6. Exhibition & International Business Support

• Support participation in global expos, trade fairs, and customer visits.
• Coordinate travel plans, meetings, and follow-up activities for overseas business trips.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / MBA in Marketing / International Business (preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in Export Sales (Steel, Engineering, Telecom Cable, Power Transmission, or Industrial Products preferred).
