Job summary

Prestige Global Gurugram is seeking an Export Quality Control Executive with hands-on experience in Buying House, Export QC, supplier and factory inspections. You will inspect export products at supplier locations to ensure they meet approved samples and buyer specifications before shipment.

Key activities include conducting pre-production, during production, and pre-shipment inspections, using AQL, checking workmanship, materials, dimensions, finish and packing, and preparing inspection reports

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of relevant Export QC/Buying House experience.
• Hands-on experience visiting factories/suppliers and inspecting export products.
• Working knowledge of AQL, sampling and defect classification.
• Experience inspecting Home Decor, Handicrafts, Hardgoods, Homeware and Textiles.

Export Quality Controller - Merchandise Inspection/ Buying House / Home & General Merchandise

We are looking for an Export Quality Control Executive with hands‑on experience in Buying House / Export QC / Supplier & Factory Inspection.

The candidate will be responsible for inspecting export products at supplier/factory locations and ensuring that products meet approved samples, buyer specifications and quality standards before shipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Pre-Production, During Production and Pre-Shipment Inspections.
• Inspect products against approved samples, buyer specifications and reference samples.
• Conduct AQL inspections and identify Critical, Major and Minor defects.
• Check workmanship, material, dimensions, colour, finish, construction, functionality and packing.
• Handle quality inspections for Home Dcor, Handicrafts, Hardgoods, Homeware and Textiles.
• Prepare inspection reports with photographs and clearly highlight defects/deviations.
• Coordinate with suppliers/factories for corrective actions and ensure quality issues are resolved before shipment.
• Coordinate with Merchandising/Sourcing teams on product quality issues.
• Regular travel to supplier/factory locations is required.

Important: This is a hands‑on field QC role. Candidates should have practical experience visiting factories/suppliers and inspecting export products.

Preferred product experience: Home Dcor / Handicrafts / Hardgoods / Homeware / Textiles / General Merchandise.

• Willingness to travel regularly to supplier/factory locations is mandatory.
• Candidates from Buying Houses, Export Houses, Sourcing Companies or third‑party inspection companies preferred.
