Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Export Logistics: coordinate with freight forwarders and partners for export shipments.
  • Documentation Management: prepare and review export documents including invoices, packing lists, B/L, AWB, origin certificates, insurance.
  • Compliance: ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Shipment Tracking: monitor shipments from departure to delivery and resolve issues.
  • Coordination: liaise with Sales, Logistics, Finance, customers, banks, and agencies.
  • Rate Negotiation: negotiate shipping rates and terms with providers.
  • Record Keeping: maintain records of export transactions and communications.
  • Customer Service: address inquiries related to shipping and delivery status.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Executive to manage and coordinate all aspects of our international shipping and documentation processes. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with global trade regulations, optimize logistics, and facilitate the smooth and timely delivery of our products to international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Logistics: Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners to arrange optimal transportation for export shipments (ocean, air, or road freight).

Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage all necessary export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Airway Bills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, Insurance Certificates, and other compliance-related paperwork.

Compliance: Ensure all export activities strictly comply with international trade regulations, customs laws, tariffs, and company policies. Handle customs clearance procedures as needed.

Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track shipments from departure to final delivery, proactively resolving any issues, delays, or discrepancies that may arise during transit.

Coordination: Liaise effectively with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Finance) and external parties (customers, suppliers, banks, government agencies) to ensure seamless export operations.

Rate Negotiation: Assist in negotiating and securing competitive shipping rates and terms with logistics providers.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all export transactions, documentation, and communication for auditing and historical purposes.

Customer Service: Address customer inquiries related to shipping, documentation, and delivery status in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, trade terms (Incoterms), and customs documentation.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with relevant logistics or ERP software (e.g., Flexi, Spectrum, or industry-specific tools) is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
