Job summary

Fourc Gemtech is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage import/export documentation for international orders from Mumbai. You will prepare invoices, packing lists, AWBs, and origin certificates, while coordinating pickups and tracking shipments with trusted couriers.

You will ensure compliance with gemstone and jewelry regulations, HS code classification, and work with agents to avoid delays. Strong English and Hindi communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on import/export documentation or logistics coordination experience.
• Graduate with B.Com/BBA or equivalent; training in International Trade/Logistics preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word; basic ERP/inventory software and shipping portals.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping & Customs Documentation: Prepare and verify Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Airway Bills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, and Customs Declarations for international orders.
• Specialized Logistics Tracking: Coordinate pick-ups and track shipments with secure couriers (e.g., FedEx, DHL, Brink's, Malca-Amit) to ensure timely and safe delivery.
• Compliance Handling: Ensure basic adherence to gemstone and jewelry import/export regulations, including Kimberley Process declarations for diamonds (where applicable) and accurate HS code classification.
• Customs Coordination: Work closely with customs clearance agents and freight forwarders to clear incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments without delays.
• Record Keeping: Maintain neat digital and physical records of all shipping documents, duty payments, and export proofs for audit and tax compliance.
• Internal Coordination: Communicate shipment status, dispatch tracking, and documentation requirements with inventory, operations, and customer service teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in import/export documentation or logistics coordination (experience in jewelry, apparel, or e-commerce exports is preferred).
• Education: Graduate (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent) with basic training or certification in International Trade/Logistics.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, basic ERP/inventory management software, and shipping portal operations.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry to prevent delays or duty penalties caused by minor paperwork errors.
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication in English and Hindi to coordinate effectively with logistics partners.
