Job summary

Tataconsumer is seeking an Executive - TSFL - Production to oversee production against plan, allocate manpower, and drive productivity while maintaining quality across multiple product lines. The role requires strong coordination of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to ensure smooth output and compliance with standards.

The incumbent will monitor plant performance, implement 5S/6 Sigma/ TPM initiatives, and manage SAP postings and month-end stock reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Managing production against plan, manpower allocation & optimize productivity, ensure raw material & packing material wastages within target, Achieve product quality as per standards.
• Ensure supplies such as Raw Material, Packaging material, consumables are organized in such a manner to ensure smooth flow of work to deliver high levels of output.
• Daily reporting of plant performance and maintaining all proper statutory records.
• Drive Process improvements, Cost Control, Productivity improvement in operations.
• Support and Guide Operator on Autonomous Maintenance
• Manpower planning and shift scheduling & Manpower Allocation
• Demonstrate and troubleshoot production issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending actions.
• Planning and Organizing Production based on plan in Spice Packaging, Pastes, Millets , Ready to Eat & Ready to Cook.
• Supervising the work of Operators & Workers and adhere to Shift Target and monitor their performance to ensure they are all contributing adequately and accountable on final product produced, its quality, efficiency and safety practices.
• Managing work as per approved SOP's and tracking of month closing activities.
• Ensure inventory and account reconciliation of consumables and stocks from vendors
• Problem solving at floor by Applying 5S, 6 Sigma Concepts, TPM
• Daily SAP Posting to be handled Shift wise and handle SAP closure activity on Month End basis with accountability to stocks in SAP & Physical.
