Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to operate and monitor Water systems, HVAC and BMS within our manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot and optimize Water and HVAC systems, interpret P&ID drawings, monitor BMS data, and drive energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 5–6 years in the pharmaceutical industry, a BE in Electrical/Mechanical, and collaboration

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of water and HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret P&ID, Isometrics and HVAC drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water system, HVAC and BMS.

• Independently operate and monitor Water system, HVAC and BMS systems
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintece activities
• Perform troubleshooting and performance optimization of Water & HVAC systems
• Interpret and implement Water System P&ID, Isometrics, HVAC layouts, P&IDs, and technical drawings
• Monitor and analyze BMS data, alarms, and performance trends
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, logs, and records
• Support qualification, validation, and audit readiness activities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support vendor execution
• Implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs
