Company: SAVA Healthcare is a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company with a global footprint. The company operates GMP‑compliant facilities in Surendranagar, Malur, and an upcoming site in Indore, producing a wide range of dosage forms across therapeutic categories.
Job Summary: The Executive/Senior Executive – Production will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, adherence to regulatory standards, continuous improvement, and a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Production Management – Supervise and coordinate the production team to meet schedules and targets, optimize resource use, and adjust processes to changing demands.
- Quality Assurance – Ensure all activities comply with GMP and FDA regulations, conduct inspections and audits, and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Process Optimization – Identify improvement opportunities, implement lean and continuous improvement methodologies, and collaborate with engineering and QA teams to enhance efficiency.
- Leadership – Lead, train, and mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain batch records, logbooks, and production reports, and prepare performance reports for management.
- Compliance & Safety – Ensure safe production practices, conduct safety training, and investigate incidents.
- Inventory Management – Monitor raw material, packaging, and finished product inventories, coordinate with procurement, and implement control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a comparable production environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven team and production management experience.
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency with production management software and tools.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Working Conditions
- Work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Occasional travel for training, meetings, or conferences.
