Job Title: Executive - Production

Job Summary
The Executive – Production oversees all production activities for tablet products, ensuring efficient use of resources, compliance with GMP and FDA regulations, continuous process improvement, quality assurance, safety, inventory management, documentation, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and supervise the production team to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Ensure efficient use of equipment and resources to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Plan and adjust production schedules to respond to changing demand.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and FDA regulations and conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Address and resolve quality issues during production.
- Identify and implement process optimizations using lean principles and continuous improvement methods.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to optimize equipment performance and product quality.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Maintain accurate batch records, logbooks, and production reports; ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety trainings, enforce safety policies, and investigate accidents or incidents.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished products; coordinate with procurement to ensure availability; implement inventory control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a similar production environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Working Conditions
- Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant with exposure to chemicals, noise, and temperature variations.
- Regular shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Occasional travel for training, meetings or conferences.
