As an Executive – Retail & Cafeteria Operations at SmartQ, your primary goal will be to take responsibility in managing day‑to‑day cafeteria/pantry operations, maintaining optimal stock levels, implementing FIFO and FEFO inventory practices, and ensuring stock accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts, skilled in inventory management, stock control (FIFO/FEFO), and employee relationship management. Experienced in minimizing inventory losses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high visual stock/product standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pantry operations and ensure smooth functioning of stores or mall operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs including employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective inventory management by adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to minimize wastage and maintain product freshness.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely stock replenishment to prevent stock‑outs and overstocking.
- Track fast‑moving and slow‑moving inventory by analyzing consumption trends and patterns.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels based on historical data, seasonality, and employee demand.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory verification to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment of products.
- Identify high‑consumption products and recommend stocking strategies to improve product availability.
- Monitor shrinkage, wastage, expiry, and inventory losses, implementing corrective actions wherever required.
- Generate inventory and consumption reports to support business decisions and demand forecasting.
Qualifications
- Any bachelor’s degree in administration, retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline or diploma or professional certification in Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or Operations is an added advantage.
- Minimum 1+ years of hands‑on experience in retail operations, store management, inventory management, or customer service operations in supermarkets, hypermarkets, FMCG, or mall operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment while maintaining operational standards.
