Job summary

Samsonite is seeking a QA/Quality Assurance professional to conduct daily finished goods inspections at domestic and Bangladesh supplier locations. The role involves communicating audit findings, closing CAPAs, and supporting suppliers with process improvements.

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required, with training provided to new supplier QA teams. This position offers a pathway to grow within Samsonite’s global supply chain QA team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in quality inspection environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily FG (finished goods) inspections at domestic and Bangladesh supplier locations.
• Communicate daily audit findings with suppliers and sourcing team.
• Ensure timely closure of CAPA for all non-conformities found during FG inspections and from market feedback.
• Provide support to suppliers for process improvement.
• Ensure monthly RM (Raw Material) and FG Lab testing as per annual plan.
• Provide on the job training to new supplier QA team members.
