Responsibilities

  • Coordinate department activities in line with policy.
  • Close monitoring of procurement for raw material per market demand.
  • Cost optimization through price negotiation, alternate sources, value engineering, new development, process optimization.
  • Procurement of Plastic raw material like PP, ABS, PC and other Engineering Polymer; knowledge of Aluminium and steel tube sourcing.
  • Ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics; maintain inventory turnover (ITR).
  • Maintain documentation for SCM (QMS and related certifications).
  • Outsourcing activity of Plastic molding.

Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items)
Coordination:
  • Overall department coordination.Ensure all department activities are in line as per specified policy.
  • Close monitoring of procurement for raw material as per market demand.
Cost Optimization:
  • Cost optimization through Price Negotiation, alternate source, value engineering, new development, process optimization.
Procurement:
  • Experience working in ERP environment.
  • Procurement of Plastic raw material like PP, ABS, PC and other Engineering Polymer. Overall exposure of local and international market.
  • Knowledge of Aluminium and steel tube sourcing.
  • Polyester fabric sourcing will be added advantages.
  • Ensure smooth supply chain from inbound logistic to out bound logistic.
  • Focus on inventory management, maintain the Inventory Turn Ratio (ITR).
  • Maintain documentation like QMS and other associated certification for SCM.
  • Outsourcing activity of Plastic molding.

Value Engineering … by changing the raw material source. Overall cost optimization of product.

Diploma in Engineering or Graduation in any discipline

  • Experience of working in Materials Dept for RM procurement.
