Job description

The purpose of this role is to provide support to their supervisor and implement day-to-day PR engagement programmes. Works collaboratively across the agency and within the Network to ensure clients receive the best integrated public relations and communications solutions for their business.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings; provide basic counsel on tactical matters alongside supervisor
• Be proactive in understanding clients business
• Build strong client relationships through onsite support and day-to-day communication
• Anticipate client and team needs, providing proactive solutions
• Assist with internal and external reporting activities: meeting notes, status reports, results reporting
• Oversee and advance workflow; work across the agency to brief internal shared services, including creative and content development, digital and social media
• Provide quality control to each project with strong attention to detail, accuracy, focus, timeline management and project management skills
• Develop and maintain budgets
• Provide counsel to clients; establish and build key client relationships
• Oversee and lead a wide variety of communications programmes across multiple channels that meet client objectives
• Create plans, proposals, results reports, creative briefs and other communications documents
• Develop relationships in Retail, Food/Beverage, CPG, Travel and Tourism, Health and Wellness, Financial Services and Sports industries
• Organise, direct and collaborate effectively across teams to achieve results
• Keep current with industry and overall consumer marketing trends while advancing expertise in new media and marketing applications
• Maintain routine contact with key client stakeholders when appropriate
• Regularly seek client feedback on the team’s performance
• Actively contribute original, innovative thinking as an agency thought-leader
