Job summary

JobItUs in Mumbai invites an Executive - Opex Procurement to join the Procurement team. You will own end-to-end operational procurement, create POs, process orders, manage GRNs, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Procurement Head, the role is ideal for candidates seeking a career in procurement and supply chain operations. Working days are 6 days (2 Saturdays off) with 9am-6pm hours at Nariman Point.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience in Purchase Order creation, order punching, GRN processing, and procurement documentation.
• Good knowledge of procurement workflows and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately as per approved purchase requisitions.
• Handle order punching and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
• Coordinate with vendors to track order status and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and ensure timely system updates.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase documentation, and vendor communications.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, deliveries, and GRNs.
• Support the Procurement Head in day-to-day procurement operations and process improvements.
