Job description

Responsibilities

• Have good knowledge about PMSM, BLDC and Hub Motor Design; able to prepare design standards, motor specification calculations according to vehicle level requirement.
• Integration of motor with controller (Vector & Trapezoidal Based), tri‑party agreement preparation and sign off with other stakeholders.
• Issue resolution, field testing support and warranty analysis exposure of failed component; should have knowledge of 6 sigma, 4M and WHY‑WHY analysis.
• SOR/RFQ, DVP, test case HIL/MIL preparation, in‑house and field testing, supplier development and VPPAP audit.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional)

• Motor design calculation (speed, torque), back EMF calculation, material selection, magnet selection and heat‑loss calculation, hysteresis and winding knowledge (size, core, material properties).
• Expertise in sensors such as Hall effect and temperature sensors.
• Integration expertise and testing & analysis of warranty issues.
