Job summary

Balasore Alloys seeks a power & maintenance data analyst to prepare MIS on energy metrics, track equipment uptime, and manage SAP PM/CMMS data. You will supervise budgets, verify invoices, and build dashboards in Excel/Power BI for senior management reviews.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with SAP PM, and the ability to interpret electrical data in an industrial setting while communicating findings clearly to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability with advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query).
• Exposure to SAP PM or an equivalent maintenance management system.
• Understanding of electrical systems in a mine or plant environment so that the data is interpreted, not just compiled.
• Clear presentation and reporting skills for senior management audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS on power consumption, specific energy consumption, power factor, maximum demand and energy cost per tonne.
• Track electrical equipment availability, breakdown hours, MTBF/MTTR and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Maintain and analyse SAP PM / CMMS data notifications, work orders, spare consumption and maintenance cost.
• Prepare and monitor the electrical department budget, capex/opex tracking and variance analysis.
• Verify contractor bills and AMC invoices against actual work done and measurement records.
• Build automated dashboards in Excel / Power BI for management review meetings.
• Maintain electrical asset registers, drawings, test reports and statutory documentation.
• Support energy audits and coordinate implementation of energy conservation initiatives.
