We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic Marine Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our vessels. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from vessel scheduling and cargo coordination to liaising with external partners and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Job Purpose:
- To assist Marine Superintendents with all operational and technical related matters. Maintain and review operational and the QHSE related documents and other documentation from vessels.
- Effective maintenance of records, documentation and arranging inspections in timely manner which ensures to satisfy the clients and compliance with company policies.
- Collect the relevant data and prepare the KPI as per the client requirements.
Vessel Scheduling and Optimization:
- Coordinate vessel schedules to optimize efficiency and on-time performance.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement in scheduling.
- Track vessel movements and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Cargo Coordination and Management:
- Work closely with port authorities, terminal operators, and shipping agents to ensure timely cargo loading and discharging.
- Monitor cargo flow and identify potential disruptions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cargo documentation.
Liaison and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including ship masters, port authorities, and logistics providers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all marine operations inquiries.
- Effectively negotiate and resolve any issues that may arise.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant maritime regulations and ensure company adherence.
- Assist with the development and implementation of safety procedures.
- Participate in audits and inspections.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret marine operations data.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:
- Sailed as 3rd officer/ 2nd officer
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marine operations or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maritime software (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
