Job summary

Oxford Placement in Dahej, Gujarat invites an experienced B.Tech (Mech) engineer to lead operation and maintenance of plant equipment and utility systems. The role focuses on downtime reduction and ensuring safe, efficient, uninterrupted plant operation.

You will execute maintenance on rotating and static equipment, monitor utilities, and support ISO/EHS compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams to plan preventive and corrective activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering (B.Tech Mech) with 5–7 years of hands-on plant maintenance and utility experience in a chemical setting.
• Experience with rotating and static equipment, processes, and utility systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate plant equipment and utility systems, aiming to reduce downtime and ensure safe, efficient production.
• Perform maintenance on rotating and static equipment, monitor utilities, and ensure ISO/EHS compliance.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
