Job summary

Copeland India Private Ltd. is seeking a logistics coordination professional to manage domestic and export shipments, coordinating with demand planners and production operations to ensure timely delivery.

The role involves scheduling shipments, optimizing routes, and maintaining EMS/QMS/Safety standards across logistics activities. You will collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues, monitor performance, and maintain accurate logs of receipts, issuances, and

• Coordinate domestic & export shipments with customer communicator/demand planner to align on shipment planning.
• Collaborate with master planner/production operations/pack line team for timely crediting of FG's.
• Schedule shipments per promise dates to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Evaluate logistics partners and vendors for performance and reliability.
• Monitor and report logistics performance metrics.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Domestic & Exports Shipment: Coordinate with Customer communicator/demand planner for shipment planning.
• Coordinate with Master planner/Production Operations/Pack line team for timely crediting of FG's.
• Schedule shipments as per Promise dates to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Evaluate the performance of logistics partners and vendors.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Packing material requirement: monitor stock levels of packing material to prevent shortages.
• Maintain detailed logs of material receipts and issuances.
• Track shipment performance and other inventory management and warehousing activities.
• Collaborate with inter- and intra-department/Sales Managers and Plant operations to achieve department/organization goals.
• Explore process improvement areas to enhance logistics operations.
• EMS/QMS/Safety Quality System: maintain records and adhere to EMS/QMS/Safety Quality System standards.
