Job summary

Tiefenbacher Laboratories in Hyderabad is seeking a QA Executive – IPQA to support in-process quality assurance for Oral Solid Dosage packaging. You will ensure compliance with approved procedures, perform in-process and finished product sampling, and participate in line clearance checks.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality assurance within a cGMP environment, strong GMP knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with production and packaging teams. M.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a pharma cGMP environment.
• Experience with in-process checks, sampling, and line clearance activities for OSD packaging operations.
• Strong knowledge of BPR/BMR review, SOP preparation, and controlled document management.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality assurance activities for OSD packaging operations, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out sampling of in-process materials, bulk products, and finished products for quality control analysis as per established procedures.
• Ensure GMP and quality systems are implemented and followed across manufacturing and packaging areas.
• Conduct line clearance checks prior to packaging activities to verify readiness and compliance.
• Review Master and Executed Batch Packaging Records (BPRs) and other quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and update SOPs and other controlled quality documents as required.
• Perform and review calibration activities for QA instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration schedules and applicable standards.

Role Overview

The QA Executive – IPQA role presents an exciting opportunity to support in-process quality assurance activities for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) packaging operations. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with approved procedures, carrying out sampling of in-process and finished products, conducting line clearance checks, and reviewing batch packaging records and quality documentation. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, a strong understanding of GMP and quality systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production and packaging teams.

A Challenging Task

• Perform in-process quality assurance activities for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) packaging operations, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out sampling of in-process materials, bulk products, and finished products for quality control analysis as per established procedures.
• Ensure effective implementation and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems across manufacturing and packaging areas.
• Conduct line clearance checks prior to the commencement of packaging activities to verify readiness and compliance.
• Review Master and Executed Batch Packaging Records (BPRs), and other quality documentation related to production processes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other controlled quality documents as required.
• Perform and review calibration activities for QA instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration schedules and applicable standards.

A Convincing Background

• M.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy or any relevant qualification in Pharmacy or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (In-Process Quality Assurance) within a pharmaceutical cGMP-regulated environment.
• Experience with in-process checks, sampling, and line clearance activities for OSD packaging operations.
• Strong knowledge of BPR/BMR review, SOP preparation, and controlled document management.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements and quality systems in a manufacturing/packaging environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
