Job summary

Tiefenbacher Laboratories in Hyderabad, India is seeking a QC Executive to support quality control testing for in-process and finished pharmaceutical products. You will analyze samples, operate and calibrate instruments (HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UV, FTIR), and apply QMS practices including Empower audit trails and data integrity.

The role requires 4–6 years in QC within a cGMP-regulated environment, with strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills, contributing to compliant product

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Control within a pharmaceutical cGMP-regulated environment.
  • Hands-on operation and calibration of HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UV and FTIR instruments.
  • Good knowledge of QMS activities including Empower audit trails and stand-alone audit trails.
  • Awareness of OOS, OOT and Incident handling procedures per regulatory requirements.
  • Strong data integrity and cGMP documentation practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

The QC Executive role presents an exciting opportunity to support quality control testing and analysis for in-process and finished pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities include analysis of samples, operation and calibration of analytical instruments (HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UV, FTIR), and applying knowledge of QMS activities, audit trails, and OOS/OOT/Incident handling. The ideal candidate has 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Control, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with Production and QA teams.

A Challenging Task
  • Perform analysis of in-process and finished product samples as per approved specifications and test methods.
  • Handle operation and calibration of analytical instruments including HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UV, and FTIR.
  • Apply knowledge of QMS activities, including Empower audit trails and stand-alone instrument audit trails.
  • Maintain awareness of OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and Incident handling procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of analytical data and test results as per cGMP requirements.
  • Support internal and regulatory audits by ensuring data integrity and compliance of QC records.
  • Coordinate with Production and QA teams to ensure timely release of in-process and finished product samples.

A Convincing Background
  • M.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy / M.Sc / B.Sc in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Control within a pharmaceutical cGMP-regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience in operation and calibration of HPLC, Dissolution, GC, UV, and FTIR instruments.
  • Good knowledge of QMS activities, including Empower audit trails and stand-alone audit trail review.
  • Awareness of OOS, OOT, and Incident handling procedures as per regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of data integrity principles and cGMP documentation practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
