Job summary

Macquarie Group’s Foreign Exchange Technology team creates innovative solutions to deliver a best-in-class currency trading experience for clients and business stakeholders. You will drive strategic DevOps initiatives in an agile environment and craft scalable, forward-looking technical solutions for client satisfaction.

Role requires 4–9 years in DevOps/production support in financial markets, with hands-on GenAI tools, AWS and SQL expertise, and proficiency in Python/Java/Shell scripting.

Qualifications

• 4–9 years in DevOps and production/front-office support in financial markets.
• Hands-on experience with Claude or GenAI tools.
• AWS cloud platforms with strong SQL and database management skills.
• Proficiency in Python or Java or Shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.

Our multi-disciplinary Foreign Exchange Technology team develops innovative solutions to create a best-in-class currency trading experience for our business and clients. We leverage our industry and technical expertise to deliver robust and scalable client-facing solutions, partnering directly with our stakeholders to drive new business growth.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will utilize your technical and operational expertise to drive and execute strategic solutions that create a first-class client experience. You will be working in an agile environment and be comfortable architecting and implementing forward-looking technical solutions while responding to operational trends.

What You Offer

• 4-9 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, production support, and front office support within financial markets.
• Hands-on experience with Claude or other AI/GenAI tools.
• Proficient in AWS/cloud platforms, with strong SQL and database management skills.
• Experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Shell scripting, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, and similar platforms.
