Responsibilities

• Cost monitoring and control
• Budgetary control – Operation & Maintenance cost, interest and manpower
• Ensure interest cost is maintained below yearly target
• Ensure borrowing levels within the budget
• Comply with financial policies and ensure financial discipline
• Record, consolidate and report transactions per accounting standards
• Maintain robust internal control systems
• Adhere to VAT, TDS, GST, Companies Act, IND AS, ICFR, ICDS requirements for the plant
• Review financial reports per policies and audits
• Carry out variance analysis and monitor cash flow & working capital
• Support investment evaluations for capacity expansion
• Invoice processing and verification
• Vendor management & reconciliation
• Payment processing & follow-up
• PO & invoice matching
• Expense management
• Ledger maintenance
• Month-end closing support

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management

• Facilitate cost monitoring and control
• Budgetary Control – Operation & Maintenance Cost, Interest and Manpower

Financing & Working Capital Management

• Ensure interest cost is maintained below level as decided yearly
• Ensure borrowing levels within the budget.

Compliance & Controls

• Comply with procedures and financial policies, ensuring financial discipline.
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded, consolidated, reported in compliance with prescribed accounting standards and policies.
• Ensure robust Internal Control system and processes

4.100% compliance with statutory requirements of VAT, TDS, GST, New Companies Act, IND AS, ICFR, ICDS, etc., for the plant.

• Review financial transactions/reports in line with the policies.
• Adherence to organizational procedure issued by management.
• Ensure zero non-compliance during various statutory/internal audits.
• Carry out variance analysis, monitoring of cash flow & working capital.

Capital Allocation & Investment Decision

• Support in carrying out investment evaluations for capacity expansion and other initiatives, as and when required.
